Passing of Shoichi Yamamoto sensei

We regret to inform you of the passing of Shoichi Yamamoto sensei.

September 6, 2025, Shoichi Yamamoto sensei (8th Dan in Shinshin Toitsu Aikido) passed away. He was 72 years old.

He energetically traveled throughout Japan to promote Shinshin Toitsu Aikido and train instructors, and also traveled to Russia annually to teach for long time.

The funeral will be held privately for family only.

The Ki Society H.Q. plans to hold a “Memorial Gathering for Shoichi Yamamoto sensei ” in Osaka at a later date.

We pray for the repose of his soul.
